The surgery was successful, recovery time is over…
I start forgetting that I could not walk, but I never forget the kindness and professional protection of Dr. Gerardo Mangino.
I was walking, without aid of a cane or walker (be it limited distance), 4 days after the surgery, up and down stairs on day 6.
I attribute this remarkable recovery to the excellence of you, your staff and the hospital staff and facility.
It has been almost two years since my hip replacement and there have been no problems with my recovery.
The nice part of this is the fact that Dr. Mangino is still checking in with me to see how I am doing. You don’t see doctors doing that here is the U.S.
I am your biggest fan!
I was hoping my care would equal the kind of care I expected in the U.S., but I did not expect it to exceed it. Let me explain.
The effort and attention previous to the procedure was extensive. Dr. Mangino made time to answer endless questions and do extensive evaluations. This entailed hours of the doctor's time which he was always happy to give.
… Post Op was also excellent with lots of hands on care.
A good medical story
This is a great story! My friend, Gloria Levitt, came down to Cabo last November as she has done for the past 3 years. In September prior to her coming here, she had an x-ray of her lower back and hip in Canada (Victoria, BC). The results came back saying that she had some rheumatism in her lower back and hip.
